FFXIV Moonfire Faire Begins Next Week

It’s almost time for the next Final Fantasy XIV seasonal event. The FFXIV Moonfire Faire will begin on August 13, 2021. The yearly event, which has been running since it was the Firefall Faire in 2011, gives people a chance to get cool gifts during hot weather.

Square Enix offered details on the rewards unique to the 2021 Moonfire Faire. The big ticket item will be a Polar Bear mount for FFXIV. People will get a Polar Bear Horn item that can summon the character to ride on. There will also be a new kind of furnishing for FFXIV housing. People could get an Moonfire Mask stall. This has multiple masks displayed on it and can be placed outside. You could also get a Costa del Hielo or Grilled Corn meal. Both could be placed on a tabletop and used up to 10 times.

As for older event items, they should be around as well. Square Enix didn’t confirm which ones will return, but did say in-game vendors will have some of them for people to buy. When it comes to what people might see, the 2018 FFXIV Moonfire Faire had Endless Summer Set gear for people to wear and a Mosquito Moogle to get and place as furniture.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC. The Endwalker expansion will launch on November 23, 2021. The FFXIV Moonfire Faire will be held August 13-26, 2021.
