Square Enix announced that FFXIV automatic housing demolition is now on paused in North America, with the company attributing the auto-demolition pause taking place in consideration of circumstances surrounding Hurricane Helene. The clock is now stopped for certain Data Centers and Worlds as of October 2, 2024.
The pause on FFXIV auto-demolition is in effect on all four Data Centers in North America now, which means 32 worlds are experiencing the automatic housing demolition suspension. This is one of the most recent major updates related to housing in the MMORPG. When Dawntrail launched, new options appeared to provide more land for players. We also know lighting issues in homes will be fixed in patch 7.05.
