FFXIV Group Pose 6.0 Updates and Performance Mode Support Teased

FFXIV Group Pose 6.0 Updates Teased

Way back in 3.1, Square Enix added the Group Pose feature for Final Fantasy XIV screenshots. Since then, subsequent updates added new features. Now ahead of Endwalker and the 6.0 update, Square Enix revealed some of the FFXIV Group Pose additions on the way, including Performance Mode support.

Performance Mode is one of the different actions people will be able to take screenshots of in FFXIV Group Pose going forward. It, role playing, and transformation actions will be able to be used while capturing an image or gif. This means your screenshots could be more active. In the examples Square Enix shared, Alisaie and Urianger appeared.

The other teases involved different cosmetic options for decorating FFXIV Group Pose screenshots. Both frames and stickers will appear. A few were mentioned in the announcement and tweet. The Reaper and Sage job icons will be there. New washi tape options will be there. The specific designs will involve Bozja, Crystarium, Doma, Eulmore, and Kugane. There will also be a musical frame and many stickers referencing things like Minions.

As a reminder, there are multiple ways to take a Group Pose. You can go into chat and type /gpose or /grouppose. You could also head under Character and choose Actions & Traits to start a Group Pose.

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PS4, PS5, and PC. FFXIV Endwalker early access for pre-orders begins December 3, 2021, with it releasing for everyone on December 7, 2021. The preliminary patch notes are available.
