FFXI July 2024 Version Update Includes Records of Eminence, Ambuscade

The Final Fantasy XI July 2024 version update is about to appear on July 10, 2024, and the major changes are to the regular FFXI Ambuscade and Records of Eminence activities. However, there is also a new login campaign starting that day and the Celestial Nights event will return again soon too.

With the Ambuscade, the July 2024 FFXI changes mean two types of Notorious Monster challenges. People will be able to fight the Qiqirn or the Lizards and Tarichuk. The Qiqirn is a fairly recurring opponent, as it appeared in the Ambuscade in 2017, 2019, and 2020 before. Likewise, the announcement pointed out the Lizards and Tarichuk are another returning fight. As for the Records of Eminence, there are new and updated objectives. Completing them will get people +2 job-specific earrings.

Both the Celestial Nights and login campaign in the FFXI July 2024 version update mean opportunities to earn new items. The actual reward for helping “Prince Yahiko” and “Princess Amdina” wasn’t revealed yet. However, the Login Campaign rewards were all revealed, and the highlighted reward was a 500 point Kupon A-AHM. However, other notable items include the 1,500 point Red Pondweed, Savory Shank, or Sweet Tea and the 1,000 point Facility Ring, Caliber Ring, or Mog Patio Plans.

This comes following the end of the Sunshine Seeker event. That added a chance to earn new furniture in June 2024.

Final Fantasy XI is available for PCs, and the July 2024 version update arrives on July 10, 2024.
