FFVII Red XIII and Cait Sith New Merchandise Will Appear in Japan

More new Final Fantasy VII merchandise will appear in Japan, and they will feature Red XIII and Cait Sith. Square Enix has opened pre-orders for tissue boxes and sleeping eye masks modeled after both characters’ heads in the country.

The eye masks will come with an individual price tag of 3,850 yen (~$29), while the tissue boxes will cost 4,950 yen (~$37) each. Square Enix will produce the items with soft, fluffy materials to comfort the users.

At the same time, Square Enix also put up a new page for a backpack emblazoned with the Shinra Company logo. The black bag will be available at 21,780 yen (~$165).

Square Enix has been releasing many Final Fantasy VII-related merchandise to celebrate the title’s 25th anniversary. Other items it has revealed previously range from Cloud Strife pin badges to a Shinra Company umbrella. A new Bring Arts figure of Cloud will also come with a couple of unique NFTs for every purchase.

Final Fantasy VII originally appeared on the original PlayStation in 1997. Square Enix launched Final Fantasy VII Remake in 2020 as a remake of the Midgar arc. The company is currently working on Final Fantasy VII Rebirth, a continuation of the Remake story that will appear on PlayStation 5 around late 2023 and early 2024.

The new Final Fantasy VII merchandise featuring Red XIII, Cait Sith, and Shinra Company will release in Japan on December 24, 2022.
