Fate/Grand Order May Not Be Compatible With iOS 18

Lasengle announced that Fate/Grand Order will not be natively compatible with iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 when the new software update releases. Fate/GO is compatible with iOS 12.2 and above versions, although there is a chance that players won’t be able to run the game or that compatibility issues might arise after the new update.

The company is still in the process of confirming compatibility for the new version of the Apple iOS. The new iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 update is coming out on September 16, 2024. Support for iOS 18 and iPadOS 18 is expected to be implemented in a future update to Fate/Grand Order.

However, Lasengle didn’t provide a release date nor window to the aforementioned update. The company also recommended not updating to iOS 18 and/or iPadOS 18 for people that wish to avoid the possibility of errors in the game. Lasengle apologized to users for the possible inconveniences until compatibility is verified.

A similar situation occurred with the release of the iOS 17 update back on September 18, 2023, and Lasengle warned players of possible instability for Fate/Grand Order or even the chance that the game might not boot after the update.

Fate/Grand Order is readily available on iOS and Android mobile devices.
