As expected during the first Ubisoft Forward of 2020, Far Cry 6 was revealed. It was used to close out the presentation. Much of the leaked information was accurate, especially the release date. Ubisoft confirmed people will be able to play the game on February 18, 2021 on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, PC, and Google Stadia. Should someone get a PS4 or Xbox One copy, they can upgrade to a next-gen PS5 or Xbox Series X copy for free.
