Square Enix and online game company Asobimo are teaming up for a newly announced smartphone game Fantasy Earth Genesis, a successor to the MMO title Fantasy Earth: Zero.

The main focus of Fantasy Earth Genesis is to inherit the attributes that made Fantasy Earth Zero fun and carry it over to the new smartphone title.

Similar to Fantasy Earth Zero, the game revolves around massive 50 vs. 50 battles that puts a total of 100 players in the battlefield.

The main objective is to damage and destroy the enemy base.

Players can expand on their domain, summon, defend, and more with the help of “Structures.”

The game also has “Summoned Beasts” with a variety of abilities that can turn the tide of battle.

 

Fantasy Earth Genesis releases this winter in Japan for iOS and Android. The online competitive action RPG will be free-to-play with micro-transactions.
