While season 1 of Amazon’s Fallout TV show hasn’t even started streaming yet, a California Film Commission announcement seems to have confirmed season 2. The company is slated to get $25 million in tax credits for the next season of it. [Thanks, Variety!]
The first episodes for the show will begin airing this week. People with Amazon Prime will be able to watch it with their subscription. It follows multiple protagonists surviving in the wasteland, with some of them being a Vault dweller named Lucy and an enigmatic figure referred to as The Ghoul and a member of the Brotherhood of Steel.
In case you missed it, here’s one of the latest new trailers for season 1 of Fallout. It begins with an advertisement for a Vault Tec Vault. After that, we see Lucy leave her Vault to head out to the surface. It offers an idea of what some of the people are working toward.
As pointed out by Variety, Fallout season 2 got $25 million in tax credits and access to $153 million in qualified expenditures.
Fallout season 1 will debut on April 11, 2024 on Amazon Prime. Every episode will be available at once on the service.
