Those who watched the Fairy Tail anime should recognize people, though. Kikuchi confirmed the Japanese voice actors will return. This means you should expect to hear Tetsuya Kakihara as Natsu Dragneel, Aya Hirano as Lucy Heartfilia, Satomi Sato as Wendy Marvel, Sayaka Ohara as Erza Scarlet, and Yuichi Nakamura as Gray Fullbuster.

Kakihara should sound especially familiar, as he has been the voice of BlazBlue’s Jin Kisaragi and Hakumen for years. While Hirano is best known for anime performances, such as Misa Amane in Death Note, Haruhi Suzumiya in The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and Dende in Dragon Ball Kai and Super, she was the Japanese voice of Monaca in Danganronpa Another Episode: Ultra Despair Girls.

Fairy Tail will come to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC on March 19, 2020 in Europe and Japan, while it will appear in North America on March 20, 2020. Lots of characters from the series will be returning, with people like Ichiya, Kagura, Rogue, Sherria, Sting, Jellal, Laxus, and Mirajane all recently confirmed.
