Two F-Zero GBA games, GP Legend and Climax, are set to join the Nintendo Switch Online Library. The two games will become available on October 11, 2024, and they will only be available for those subscribed to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack membership tier.
F-Zero is a series of classic Nintendo racing games, with F-Zero GP Legend originally releasing worldwide on the GBA in 2003 in Japan and 2004 worldwide. Meanwhile F-Zero Climax never made it outside Japan. Both games feature the series’ signature high-speed races and characters, while Climax also includes a course editor mode for creating your own race tracks. The games are only part of the Nintendo Switch Online library of Game Boy Advance games, which you access via the dedicated Switch app.

Back in August, 2024, the creator of F-Zero‘s Captain Falcon Takaya Imamura joined in on the online trend of posting pictures of a meal with the caption “Falcon Lunch”, a play on the character’s signature phrase “Falcon Punch”. Meanwhile, Nintendo also released information on new features coming to F-Zero 99 back in March, 2024.
F-Zero GP Legend and F-Zero Climax will become available for Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack subscribers on October 11, 2024.
