For better or worse, Cave Story 3D has been pushed back to the holiday season. While that gives it a little more time to boil and bubble in Nicalis’ pot, it also means it’ll face competition from more first party 3DS games.

Changes made to the game over the next few months will be “in the small details” according to producer, Jack Niida. NIS America rescheduled Cave Story 3D for November 8 in North America.
