At the 2022 Capcom Showcase, a new Exoprimal trailer appeared. This offered the latest substantial look following its March 2022 reveal. Closed Network Test is on the way, with people able to sign up to take part. There’s no date for it yet. However, it will appear ahead of the game’s 2023 debut.
Leviathan, an Aibius Corp AI, speaks to the player at the beginning of the new trailer. This AI has watcher and a “watcher” forms to connect with players. Leviathan puts players in live combat tests as part of its war games. The goal is for the combat data to make Exosuits better. We then see people saying the goal is to destroy Leviathan in the Dino Survival mode and unlock more of the story.
Two assault-type Exosuits appeared. Barrage is one that seems to rely on grenades and weapons that look like a bow and arrow. Vigilant uses a rail gun.
The Exoprimal closed network tests will be held on July 10, 2022, July 25, 2022, and August 7, 2022. They will only be on PCs via Steam and in English and Japanese. The official site to sign up is open. Folks need to be over 17. The first July 11, 2022 test is limited to people in the US and Canada. Other tests will be global.
As a reminder, Exoprimal will be a 5v5 multiplayer game. People will be in Exosuits, with each one representing a different class. They’ll head into matches and attempt to deal with dinosaur invasions. Initially, the Deadeye, Roadblock, Witchdoctor, and Zephyr suits were revealed.
Exoprimal will come to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam in 2023, and a closed network test is on the way.
