Exoprimal is a 5v5 Multiplayer Game

Following the March 2022 State of Play, Capcom clarified that Exoprimal will be a 5v5 multiplayer game. During its debut trailer, the focus was more on the situation and showing off the world. However, the full game will focus on a Dino Survival mode that tasks people with working together on a team to accomplish their goals before a rival team, all while dealing with dinosaurs.

In Exoprimal, each person will pick an Exosuit class and join their team for multiplayer. However, they aren’t locked into a choice. You can swap to a different one during a match if the team needs someone in a certain role. As you play, you’ll also learn more about the story and find out why there is a dinosaur crisis in 2040.

Capcom detailed some of the classes. The Deadeye acts as something like a sniper. The Roadblock will carry a shield and defend allies. A Witchdoctor will be a support unit. The Zephyr will be a melee unit.

Exoprimal will come to the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam in 2023. It didn’t clarify if there will be other modes beyond Dino Survival in the game just yet.
