Exodus by Archetype Entertainment Announced at TGA 2023

During The Game Awards 2023, Exodus, a new science fiction action-adventure role-playing game franchise from Archetype Entertainment was announced. The game will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC.

Archetype Entertainment, helmed by James Ohlen who is known for his work on Baldur’s Gate and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, was developed in 2019 by industry veterans from BioWare, Naughty Dog, and other iconic video game studios. Exodus will be the studio’s first game to release.

Exodus is a narrative-driven game that focuses on the impact caused by time dilation, which is an effect created by traveling at lightspeed where time moves slowly for the traveller but moves fast for everybody outside of the time dilation. The game explores the ramifications of this and its impact on the choices made in the game.

Players can opt-in to become a founder for Exodus in order to receive the Founder’s EXODUS Aegis Space Suit, a patch that identifies them as an early Founder, and The Traveler’s Cloak for referring three or more friends into the Founders program. More information about the Founders program can be found on the official website.

Exodus will release on release on the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. No release date has been announced.
