Capcom announced that there will be changes coming to the Resident Evil Ambassador Program in 2024, with merchandise involved. Specifically, the exclusive merchandise coming to Ambassadors who are at the Platinum Rank in 2023.
Resident Evil Ambassador points and rank will reset every year on March 31st starting in 2024. Resident Evil Ambassadors invited to Platinum Rank in 2023 will be gifted exclusive merchandise. Any Ambassadors who were Platinum Rank in 2022 or are in Gold Rank or lower this year are excluded from receiving the gifts.
The Resident Evil Ambassador Program is built to foster discussion about the franchise among old and new fans on Twitter. Fans are encouraged to share their Tweets about their love of Resident Evil by using the #REBHFun hashtag, complete questionnaires, and participate in special events.
People in the Resident Evil Ambassador Program have the chance of being invited to play-tests and discussions about in-develop games, earn exclusive content, get early access to demos at game shows and during beta tests, and other benefits listed on the official Ambassador Program website.
Using the #REBHFun hashtag can earn Ambassadors up to 5 points per day as long as their Twitter is not set to private. Bronze Rank requires Ambassadors to just have an account registered to the Resident Evil Ambassador Program. Silver Rank requires Ambassadors to have 5 points and a public Twitter. Gold Rank requires Ambassadors to have made it to Silver Rank and earn 200 points. Platinum Rank requires Ambassadors to be in Gold Rank, follow the official Resident Evil Portal Twitter account, and receive an invitation.
Resident Evil 4 Remake, the most recent release in the Resident Evil franchise, is available for the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and Windows PC via Steam. VR Mode is coming exclusively to the PSVR 2, which is on the PS5, and will release as a free update to Resident Evil 4 Remake.
