Six more games are popping up on the PlayStation Store as PsOne classics in Japan. Motor Toon Grand Prix (USA Edition) is probably the most well known title on the list due to Polyphony Digital’s involvement. Notice how it says USA Edition? This is actually an international re-release of Motor Toon Grand Prix 2. The actual Motor Toon Grand Prix was never released outside of Japan.
Not enough racing? Wai Wai Kart, a generic kart racing game from Hamster, is also on the list. Money Idol Exchanger might be interesting if you’re a Puzzle Bobble fan since it has essentially the same gameplay, except you match coins instead of colorful bubbles. Meru Purna from Gust is on the list, but it isn’t at all like their Atelier series. Meru Purna is a table game with connections to Mount Meru.
Here is what you can get for 600 yen ($6):
Wai Wai Kart
Motor Toon Grand Prix (USA Edition)
Magical Dice Kids
Meru Purana
Money Idol Exchanger
Nobunaga Hiroku: Geten no Yume
