Some notable titles missing from the headliners are the new Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and Dragon Ball FighterZ. EVO director of global business development, Mark “MarkMan” Julio commented:
Mark Julio: “Not every title was included in the main event that we originally hoped for. We couldn’t get approval from the publisher/owner. As unfortunate as this may be, we will still be supporting the communities and events at Evo Japan 2019 — more information on that later”
EVO Japan 2019 takes place on February 15 through February 17, 2019 at the Fukuoka Kokusai Center. Check out more details for the event in our previous report.
