Epic Games knows how popular and successful Lego Fortnite is, so fans of this survival crafting mode can look forward to even more content soon. The massive Lego Fortnite Lost Isles update aims to put the Star Wars update from a while back to shame, adding new content, areas, and creatures sooner than you might think.
Lego Fortnite: Lost Isles Update Release Date, Explained
The best part about the upcoming update is you don’t have to wait long at all to experience it. Lost Isles will drop for players on all platforms for free on Tuesday, September 17, 2024. So, there is a chance it’s already out by the time you read this. If this update follows past patches, it will probably go live sometime early in the morning for North American players.
Everything New in the Lost Isles Update
This particular update appears to be one of the largest since Lego Fortnite first released for free. Players will be able to visit the isles by first heading to any Battle Bus Station. This new location seems to be separate from the base game, similar to the Star Wars island. The isles will have five biomes in total: the Beach, Plains, Jungle, Mountains, and Floating Islands.
In addition to the new locations, there are a ton more new additions that will arrive with the Lego Fortnite Lost Isles update. Here’s everything else new that you need to know about for when this new area drops:
- New pirate enemies
- Flower and plant consumables
- Geysers
- New weapons like the Pirate Musket and Flint-Knock Pistol
- Runes for upgrading weapons
- Lego Klombo
- Golems
- New fruits and vegetables
- New vehicles like the airship and tank
The Lego Fortnite: Lost Isles update will release for Android, Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on September 17, 2024.
