Everything New in Wuthering Waves Update 1.1

Wuthering Waves is about to get its first major content update post-launch. The free-to-play gacha game is gaining new features, menu options, and even some limited-time events for players to check out. To prepare, here is everything you need to know about Wuthering Waves update 1.1.

Wuthering Waves Update 1.1 Echo System and events, explained

Wuthering Waves’ first major content update is coming out on June 28, 2024. As part of this update, one of the most important additions will be changes to the Echo System. This includes the Tuner Synthesis, which lets players combine lower tuners to make higher level ones.

Players will also get more experience for new Echo entries and a new level cap for the Data Bank, which will go up to 21. There will also be a new Echo to obtain with the Clang Bang ice cube-like Echo in Mt. Firmament.

Players can also look forward to a few new events that will happen, beginning with the arrival of patch 1.1:

  • Aftersound Abundance: Leveling material double drop event
  • Chord Cleansing Echo: Double drop event
  • Dreams Ablaze in Darkness: New Depths of Illusive Realm event with 1000 Astrites, various tokens, Symphony Rank, and other rewards up for grabs.
  • Gifts of Celestial Light: 7-day login event
  • Mt. Firmament Area Event
  • Lollo Campaign Commission Event
  • Tactical Simulcra Combat Event

All other additions and changes in Wuthering Waves 1.1: Thaw of Eons

In addition to the major changes and events above, there are also other additions players can expect in Wuthering Waves 1.1.

Here are the other changes and additions coming in this update:

  • New Mt. Firmament map
  • Ability to track your current progression on Exploration Quests in an area
  • Lootmapper will have expanded range to find supply chests
  • New Gallery – Crossing Stars feature will show all Resonators you unlocked
  • Gallery – Main Story will feature all completed main story dialogues
  • Lower level requirement for some content, including Main Quest Chapter 1 Act 4: Clashing Blades
  • Combat Style Tags for dividing up your different Resonators
  • Chat screen changes
  • Camera and key remapping options for controllers
