Everything in Metaphor: ReFantazio New Game Plus

Like any good JRPG, Metaphor: ReFantazio does feature a New Game Plus. If you’ve completed the game, or have yet to complete the game, you might be wondering what that includes. Look no further, as we’ve outlined the key features that are part of New Game Plus below.

One of the most notable features in New Game Plus is what carries over. This includes the following:

  • Archetype Progression
  • Gold Beetles
  • Royal Virtues
  • MAG
  • Money
  • Memorandum
  • Items (with the exception of Key Items)

This allows for players to more or less further flesh out their Archetypes, or invest more time in ones they otherwise were unable to level up during their second or third playthrough of the game. Keep in mind that you will need to unlock these Archetypes again. But once you’ve done that, all of your progression in terms of leveling those individual Archetypes will carry over.

Additionally, because Archetype Progression is one of the key features of New Game Plus, you will be able to invest time in Social Links that you might have ignored. You’ll also have the freedom to explore other choices and see how that affects the narrative overall.
