The Evangelion 30+ event celebrating the 30th anniversary of the anime series will include a Fans’ Market exhibiting professional and amateur creations. The event will be held between February 21-23, 2026 at Yokohama Arena in Kanagawa Prefecture, Japan. [Thanks, Game Watch!]
Those wishing to participate in the Evangelion 30+ Fans’ Market need to be 18 years old or older, residents of Japan, and able to communicate in Japanese. Meanwhile, people residing outside of Japan will be able to participate as long as they have a representative acting as proxy that resides in Japan, can act as a Japanese interpreter in their behalf, and is capable of accompanying the applicant during the event. More details about the upcoming Evangelion 30+ event will be announced after summer 2025.
The Evangelion anime series first aired on October 4, 1995, which marks 2025 as the 30th anniversary of the series. Related to the anniversary of the series, McDonald’s Japan is currently offering a series of limited-time Evangelion burgers.
