The movie’s director Hideaki Anno will attend the stream with several other key staff members. They will re-watch the movie while answering questions from fans. Khara has opened a Google Docs form on the stream’s news page, where fans can send questions to the staff in Japanese. It will close the submissions in seven hours before the stream begins.

Khara will share the exact URL for the Evangelion 3.0+1.0 anniversary stream on Twitch at a later time. It is currently unknown whether the stream will be available worldwide or region-locked.

Evangelion 3.0+1.0: Thrice Upon a Time appeared first in Japanese theaters from March 8, 2021, to late July 2021. It managed to gross 10 billion yen during its run at the Japanese box office. In January 2022, the Japan Academy Film Prize Association listed this movie as one of the nominees for the Best Animation of the Year.

The latest Evangelion movie is immediately available to watch worldwide via Amazon Prime Video. It appears on the platform as Evangelion 3.0+1.01: Thrice Upon a Time, which has several additional scenes not included in the original launch.
