For the first time in the series, Etrian Odyssey Untold II: The Knight of Fafnir will have DLCs, including illustrations, character class, and more. The official website shared a look at what it’ll include.
The first wave of DLCs go live on the game’s release date in Japan, starting with illustrations from the first three Etrian Odyssey games, which can all be used in Classic Mode, where you get to make your own characters. This DLC won’t cost a thing.
The next part is a DLC for the Highlander class, which was introduced in Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl. This one will remain free for the first two weeks after release, and will cost 100 yen afterwards.
The third additional content goes for 250 yen, and it’s a repeatable quest that can be played in order to get special ingredients, which can then be used to make foods that are said to be pretty good for making money.
Finally, the fourth one goes for 350 yen, and it features a special hot springs quest where you’ll get to fight the giant toad monster. This quest will also get you new images for Arianna and Chloe, which can also be switched around in Story Mode.
Etrian Odyssey Untold II: The Knight of Fafnir and its first wave of DLC will release in Japan on November 27, 2014 for Nintendo 3DS.
