Eternights Release Date Up Bumped Up, Physical Release Coming

Those waiting for the Persona-like indie title Eternights don’t have too much longer to wait for the game to release. Developer Studio Sai announced it’s changing the release date, but not to delay the game. Instead, the new Eternights release date means fans will get to play it sooner than before, in addition to its newly announced physical release. Eternights is now coming out on Tuesday, September 12, 2023.

This new release date is more than a week before its initial release date of Thursday, September 21, 2023. It’s worth noting the Steam listing for the game already reflects this change. However, the PlayStation Store still shows the old release date for the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game at the time of writing, but this change should be for all three versions.

In addition, players can now look forward to a physical release for Eternights. It’s uncertain if physical copies will be available in time for its new release date, as that wasn’t revealed in the announcement. For global fans, there are also two trailers confirming the game in Japanese and Korean.

Eternights comes from Studio Sai, a Seattle-based indie developer. The game blends together dating sim elements and action-RPG combat for a post-apocalyptic adventure about saving the world from an infection. It features a daily system and a social link-like system inspired by the Persona series. It will retail for $29.99, and there is a demo already available.

Eternights releases for the PS4, PS5, and PC on September 12, 2023.
