The embargo for Capcom’s “Captivate” event, which took place last week, lifts tomorrow at 8:00 AM PST. Prior to the inevitable official announcement, we already know that Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition is headed to console versions of the game as downloadable content. However, there’s also the matter of the PC version…
As you might imagine, Captivate only further encouraged fans on Twitter to interrogate Street Fighter IV producer, Yoshinori Ono, about a PC version of Super Street Fighter IV once again in recent days. One of Ono’s recent replies to one such fan states:
“I cant twit about it topic… Plz wait until 12th Apr. 8am PST”
It’s hard to get any clearer than that, short of an official announcement. Meanwhile, Shoryuken.com dug up an ESRB rating for Super Street Fighter IV and noted that the PC has now been added to the list of platforms.
Whether or not the PC version of the game will feature Arcade Edition content is a question that we’ll probably see answered tomorrow as well.
