You know how North America gets two Xbox Live Arcade games this week? Japan and Korea get zero. It’s no secret that Asia often gets left out of the Xbox Live Arcade releases due to licensing issues, but I would have to say Korea has it the worst. They miss out on games that Japan gets like Castlevania: Symphony of the Night, Battlestar Galatica, Exit, Puzzle Quest… well you get the point. Brandon of insertcredit fame has been hanging out in South Korea and discovered an English training Xbox Live Arcade game is in development. If it’s in Korean (probably?) it will be the first South Korea only release.
Also it looks like Magna Carta 2 isn’t vaporware. Dae Hwan Lim, the Xbox 360 marketing coordinator in South Korea, mentions that it still is in development. They announced the project more than two years ago, but nothing has matriculated since. After dismal sales of Magna Carta Portable for the PSP I thought it might have been abandoned. This time, I’m glad I’m wrong. I'll be even more amused if the English training game is Magna Carta: Learn to read the English Charter.
