The release date for the PC version of El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron remains unconfirmed. Earlier reports listed the title as scheduled to arrive sometime in April 2021, however developer Sawaki Takeyasu took to Twitter to state that this is not correct. The tweet regarding the release date of El Shaddai on PC from Takeyasu states that this is a “false alarm,” and that the release date is still unconfirmed. This is due to tests still being performed on the game in some capacity.

Since the announcement of the upcoming PC version of El Shaddai, Takeyasu has consistently updated his Twitter regarding the development of the game. This includes the confirmation of a dual audio version for the PC release and other features that will make it into the Steam version. An English and Japanese text version of the game will immediately be available on release. Players will be able to switch between the two languages from the launcher once the game releases.

El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron is immediately available for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. There is currently no release date for the PC version of the game.
