El Shaddai Director Acquires IP, Plans To "Develop A Potential El Shaddai Business"

Video game publisher Ignition Entertainment became part of Disney when UTV was acquired. At that time Ignition had two original IPs, Dragon’s Crown which was sold to Atlus and El Shaddai.

Takeyasu Sawaki’s studio Crim announced they have completed acquisition of the El Shaddai IP from Ignition. This acquisition includes El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron which was released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 and rights for sequel or prequels to El Shaddai. In a statement, Crim said they "will work with the Entertainment industry to develop a potential El Shaddai business moving forward." When El Shaddai was released Ignition planned to turn the game into a franchise.

 

Crim’s first project is a Sawakigraph Volume.02.5 El Shaddai rights acquisition commiseration book.
