Earthbound Pop-up Store Will Tour Japan

An Earthbound/Mother pop-up store with merchandise will appear around Japan throughout August and September 2023. This pop-up shop first appeared in Shibuya earlier this year. Itā€™s free to enter, which means you can also go inside and check out the themed items or decor. Itā€™s unknown whether or not youā€™ll be allowed to take pictures. [Thanks, PR Times!]

  • Ikebukuro – Parco
    September 1 – September 25, 2023

  • Toyama – Sogawa Base
    September 17 – September 30, 2023
  • Umeda – Umeda Loft
    September 29 – October 22, 2023
  • Shibuya – Shibuya 109
    September 29 – October 15, 2023
  • Sapporo – Sapporo Parco
    October 16 – November 5, 2023
  • Hiroshima – Hiroshima Parco
    November 1 – November 13, 2023

As for the Mother merchandise that youā€™ll be able to buy, most of the items are apparel. For example, you can get a T-shirt with the Earthbound 2 logo on it for 4950 JPY. There are also hats for sale. As for more unique items, you can get:

  • Skateboard deck: 16,500 JPY
  • Paulaā€™s Toy: 4620 JPY
  • Nessā€™s Yo-Yo: 2200 JPY

Paulaā€™s toy is a red teddy bear. As for the skateboard decks, there appears to be three designs. You can get one that looks like the in-game map, one that has the Mother logo, and one of four silhouettes.

The Earthbound/Mother Street pop-up store with merchandise will start in appearing in Japan in August 2023, with the first store opening up for a limited time in Nagoya.
