D3 Publisher announced today that the latest of their cult third-person shooter series in Earth Defense Force 4.1: The Shadow of New Despair is releasing for PC via Steam on July 18, 2016.

About Earth Defense Force 4.1:

It’s a fight for the future of the planet between the Ravagers, a merciless swarm of alien invaders, and the Earth Defense Force (EDF) in this third-person shooter.
As an EDF soldier you will go head to head in fierce combat against the hordes of giant alien insects and their slaughtering machines.
Play as four different classes in over 80 missions with a range of 800 weapons at your disposal.
The most overwhelmingly numerous forces of Ravagers the series has ever seen will take the EDF fighters to the depths of despair and back!
Online co-op play supported.

In addition to having the original Japanese voices or a full English dub, the Steam version of Earth Defense Force 4.1 will include a variety of DLCs at launch, including the Gigantus Tank, Bullet Girls Marking, which you can check out below:

A specially painted Combat Vehicle Gigantus, armed with a smooth-bore gun with armor piercing ammo that can fire through multiple enemies. To celebrate its debut, its makers painted a goddess of war on its frame. People believe that the paint will protect them from the enemy’s attack…but it has no such effect, at least not any more so than any other good luck charm.

Earth Defense Force 4.1 will release for PC on July 18, 2016. The game is currently available on PlayStation 4.
