HoYoVerse offered an update on when people can earn a free Freminet in Genshin Impact via the Thelxie’s Fantastic Adventures event. Everything begins on November 23, 2023.

Things start with both the first act of a quest and one minigame in the event. On November 23, 2023 is when Act 1, Motherboard Troubleshooting, Record of the Search for Glory will be available. If you are at Adventure Rank 20 and completed the Archon Quest Prologue: Act 3 “Song of the Dragon and Freedom,” you can jump into it. However, HoYoVerse did recommend that people finish the Fontaine Archon Quest storyline by going through the Chapter 4 Act 5 mission “Masquerade of the Guilty,” due to this being a Fontaine event and involving characters from there.

There are three types of minigames during the event, as well as three Acts for its quests. The first minigame is Motherboard Troubleshooting and involves arranging circuits to conduct a current to a certain place. In Record of the Search for Glory, you use an Echoing Conch to find where Iridescent Glories are that you need to get. The third minigame is Purgation Counterstrike, which opens up on November 25, 2023 alongside Act 2 of the event story. That’s the combat challenge portion of the event.

Thelxie’s Badges are awarded via each of these three minigames, and those can be redeemed for the four-star Cryo character Freminet. You can also use that event currency to get a Crown of Insight, Primogems, and things to help improve characters and their weapons like Hero’s Wit books and Mystic Enhancement Ores.

The final quest in the event opens up on November 27, 2023. That’s when you can go through Act 3.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the free Freminet Thelxie’s Fantastic Adventures event runs until December 11, 2023. Freminet is always available via every gacha banner in the game.
