Early 2022 PSO2 New Genesis Roadmap Revealed

Sega revealed some of the things to come in a PSO2 New Genesis roadmap. This latest timeline offers a look at things coming up in early 2022. All of these will happen after the December 15, 2021 Sandstorm Requiem addition and December 22, 2021 Christmas event.

Things will start with an additional winter holiday event. This one will be New Year’s themed. That will appear in January 2022. In February 2022, there will be new Chapter 2 storylines, the level cap will jump from 35 to 40, Arks ID will apepar, and there will be Massive Boss Suppression Urgent Quests. The Spring Event will show up in March 2022. In April 2022, Retem Region Urgent Quest and High Rank Sectors will appear. The level cap will also jump from 40 to 45 for characters. Photon Arts and Techniques and an Urgent Quest will come up in May 2022. Then, Chapter 3, another region, more Class Skills, a level 60 level cap, and another region will appear in PSO2 New Genesis in June 2022.

In the meantime, the next new activities and updates will come to PSO2 New Genesis next week. On December 15, 2021, the Sandstorm Requiem update will go live. This means Retem will be available. It will feature new enemies and equipment, as well as World Trials. There will also be additions to character classes, like new elemental techniques and class skills.

Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis is playable on the Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
