The demo will take players to the Battle of Sishui Gate, which was part of the demo available at Tokyo Game Show 2024. However, Tomiko Sho, Dynasty Warriors: Origins producer & Head of Omega Force at Koei Tecmo, revealed that a few more features that weren’t available for that specific demo will appear.

Players will be able to pick from a total of four weapons. This includes the Sword, Guandao, Pudao, and Wheels. Customization for Arts, Gems, and Accessories will also be possible. And on top of that, series menace and man who you definitely don’t want to approach, Lu Bu, will be menacing the battlefield.

Pre-orders for Dynasty Warriors: Origins will open up alongside the release of the demo.

A total of 47 characters will return in Dynasty Warriors: Origins. However, not all characters will see their Japanese voice actors returning to reprise their roles. Regardless, that’s still a pretty hefty amount of familiar faces that will show up in Origins.

Koei Tecmo will release Dynasty Warriors Origins for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC simultaneously worldwide on January 17, 2025. A demo will be made available for the PlayStation 5 on November 22, 2024. Pre-orders will also open the same day.
