Dungeon Encounters Announced, Release Date Set for October

During the Square Enix TGS 2021 presentation, the company announced the release of a new hybrid strategy RPG title called Dungeon Encounters. This title is set to release on October 14, 2021 for PlayStation 4, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The game is available to pre-order through all available platforms. The development team for Dungeon Encounters includes Hiroaki Kato and Hiroyuki Ito. Both have worked on mainline Final Fantasy titles.

Alongside the announcement of the title, and its release date, Square Enix released a trailer showcasing gameplay and character sprites. Players will explore dungeons through title based systems, with battles handled through a turn-based system. An ATB gauge will also be present and will feature a wait mode.

Dungeon Encounters will release for PC, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4 on October 14, 2021.
