Gearbox Software, who now own the rights to Duke Nukem, are publishing Duke Nukem Forever this Summer. North America gets the game on May 3rd, while the rest of the world will see it on May 6th.

If you want to play Duke Nukem Forever early, the Bordlerlands: Game of the Year Edition will get you exclusive access to the Duke Nukem Forever demo and other content.

An interesting point to note is that Gearbox President, Randy Pitchford, was originally a part of 3D Realms, which worked on Duke Nukem 3D all the way back in 1996. Pitchford was instrumental in Gearbox’s acquisition of the Duke Nukem license and having completion of the game transferred over to his company after 3D Realms shut down.
