The two Pawns were revealed during a recent NicoNico Live stream showcasing the latest of the MMORPG title. Pawns are helper NPCs that you can customize with personalities, voices, looks, and their own gear.
The “Onochin” Pawn was shown going pretty wild in the live stream, but you’ll also be able to tame him and other Pawns via commands. Sony President and CEO Atsushi Morita and Capcom’s very own Yoshinori Ono will join players on their fight in Dragon’s Dogma Online in the near future.
Dragon’s Dogma Online will officially launch in Japan on August 31, 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3. The early access will begin tomorrow on August 27th.
