New trailers detailing the some vocations from Dragon’s Dogma 2 appeared, this time featuring the brutal Warrior and powerful Sorcerer. Unlike the hybrid vocations like Warfarer and Mystic Spearhand, these will be available for use by your Pawn companions.
The Sorcerer and the Warrior were both part of the original game’s selection of nine vocations, which are Dragon’s Dogma‘s version of classes. The Warrior is an advanced version of the Fighter and trades a shield for a two-handed weapon for increased offensive power. The Sorcerer similarly loses out on the Mage’s healing magic in order to gain more powerful attacks of various elements, many of which can be seen in the trailer. Also shown is the return of Spell Syncing, which allowed multiple Sorcerers to cast spells of the same element together to speed up the charging time.
