The Dragon’s Dogma 2 patch introduces “PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution” (PSSR), which uses AI upscaling to improve visual clarity on the PS5 Pro. Additionally, a new “Balanced” graphics setting lets PS5 Pro players choose a middle ground between performance and visual quality.

When it comes to the bug fixes in the Dragon’s Dogma 2 update, those are across all platforms. The notes for them can also get a bit specific. The patch resolves a progression bug in the “Nesting Troubles” quest, during which the quest would fail to advance even after players threw the required poison jar. Additional adjustments address issues with pawns with “Calm” or “Straightforward” traits, who would stop moving after attempting the “Levitate” action. Capcom also corrected a bug causing the spell “Maelstrom” to become excessively powerful when Myrddin was part of the player’s party. A mini-map glitch that caused unwanted zooming while passing through the Hermit’s Retreat has been fixed, along with minor sound glitches in the character editor.

Capcom previously added new graphics and performance modes in its October 17, 2024 update for Dragon’s Dogma 2. That offered enhanced display options across all platforms.

Dragon’s Dogma 2 is currently available on the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
