This new lineup will feature three kinds of traditional Japanese crafts. The first one will be a Slime-themed iron kettle made by the Nanbu Ironware Association from the Iwate prefecture. This product will cost 33,000 yen (~$221.75).

Square Enix is also working with crafters from Yamanashi prefecture to create Koshu Inden products made of lacquered deer leather. Two craft variations will appear here: A Roto/Erdrick-themed long wallet at 47,300 yen (~$317.70) and a Slime-themed coin purse at a more affordable price of 7,700 yen (~$51.75).

The third and last collaboration in the lineup features the Edo-Kiriko glassware that originated in the city now known as Tokyo. Square Enix will release three kinds of Slime-themed glass cups priced individually at a whopping 66,000 yen (~$443.30). The cups will be available in three colors: Blue after the regular Slime, Red after Slime-beth/She-slime, and Black after the Metal Slime.

Square Enix has occasionally commissioned Japanese traditional crafters to create products themed after its famous game franchises. In late 2023, it worked with the Wajima Lacquerware Youth Association to produce Final Fantasy XIV art plates.

The Dragon Quest Zipang merchandise collection will be available in Japan on August 23, 2025.
