Square Enix recently updated the logo for Dragon Quest XII: The Flames of Fate that appears in the Square Enix recruitment site for the game. Additionally, the copyright shown in the new logo was also updated on 2023. Dragon Quest XII was originally announced in May 2021. There have been no updates or new information on the game since it was first announced. [Thanks, Automaton!]
Dragon Quest XII was revealed in a short teaser shown during the Dragon Quest 35th anniversary livestream on May 2021, alongside the HD-2D remake of Dragon Quest III. This last title received a more detailed trailer, in comparison to the short DQXII teaser. In the nearly two years since the announcement, no new information has come out about both titles.

Although the change is subtle, the recent update of the logo and renewal of copyright could indicate that Square Enix might be getting ready to show some new details about Dragon Quest XII in the near future.
The previous mainline title in the Dragon Quest series is Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age, which released for all last-gen platforms, and received critical acclaim. On December 9, 2022, the a DQXI spin-off Dragon Quest Treasures released exclusively for the Nintendo Switch.
Dragon Quest XII: The Flames of Fate is currently in development. There is no confirmed release date, and there are no details on which platforms it will release on.
