Dragon Quest XI Shows Off Its Horseracing Mecca Gallopolis

Square Enix uploaded a stream archive from the second day of E3 today that shows off an hour of the horseracing city of Gallopolis in Dragon Quest XI.

 

Later in the video, the developers of Dragon Quest XI and Final Fantasy Brave Exvius do a Q & A on an upcoming collaboration. Producer Hokuto Okamoto and director Takeshi Uchikawa talked about the game, saying that “The concept of the game this time around was to kinda go back to that era where everybody sat in front of the TV playing games.”They focused on what the original draw of the Dragon Quest series was while writing the story, for both veterans and newcomers to the series.

Dragon Quest Heroes XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age will come to the PlayStation 4 and PC in North America and Europe on September 4, 2018. The game is also in development for Nintendo Switch. It is immediately available on the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo 3DS in Japan.
