Nintendo of Europe just announced a bunch of release dates for various games, and among them are Dragon Quest VI and Solatorobo. While Nintendo are publishing the former themselves, they’re going to be handling marketing and sales for the latter.

Dragon Quest VI will make it out the gate first on May 20th. Solatorobo: Red the Hunter will follow a little over a month later on July 1st.

Last year, Nintendo president, Satoru Iwata, hinted that one of the ways to keep the Nintendo DS relevant would be to release games in territories that haven’t received them yet. Following that tease, we’ve seen Inazuma Eleven, Dragon Quest VI and Solatorobo in Europe so far.

I suppose there’s also the possibility of Professor Layton and the Specter’s Flute making it out sometime this year. What else can you think of that Nintendo could have a hand in?
