Back in May 2020, Square Enix announced a Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai mobile game called Spirit of Bonds. Now, it confirmed the game will appear worldwide as Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai: A Hero’s Bonds. People can already pre-register for the game, which is “coming soon.” They can also sign up to possibly participate in an April 2021 closed beta test.
Dragon Quest The Adventure of Dai: A Hero’s Bonds is an RPG with two stories. The Dragon Tracks Classic Story follows Dai, Popp, Maam, and Gomechan as they go through the original story. Bonding Journey is a whole new story with different characters and Dragon Quest: The Adventure of Dai mangaka Riku Sanjo’s input. You have a party of three characters, who fight in three lanes of the battlefield against classic Dragon Quest foes and The Adventure of Dai enemies.
Here’s a video showing it off.
