Square Enix announced that the competitive digital trading card game Dragon Quest Rivals has surpassed 12 million downloads since its launch in Japan on November 2 for smartphones.

Last we heard, Dragon Quest Rivals hit the 10 million downloads mark on November 21, so the Dragon Quest take on Hearthstone and Shadowverse has been enjoying quite some success. Players will be given 1,200 Alchemy Stones and an Arena Ticket to those who log on from December 18 through December 25.
