Hori, the makers of all kinds of arcade sticks, have a replica of the Dragon Quest Monster Battle Road II controller for the Wii.
See, Dragon Quest Monster Battle Road Victory is really a home version of the card battling arcade game Dragon Quest Monster Battle Road II with an added quest mode. This controller is built like the arcade machine with colored buttons and a sword (well, part of a sword). Players actually use the Sky Sword by pressing down on it to finish enemies. Don’t have a special controller? Then you use the Wii remote to slash at the screen.
Hori’s Dragon Quest Monster Battle Road Victory accessory will retail for a pretty penny. Fans will have to fork over 12,800 yen ($138) for this collectable. V-Jump says the controllers will be ready this summer just in time for Battle Road Victory’s summer debut on Wii.
