The Slime-shaped cleaner will have a small size of around 6-10 cm (~2.36-3.94 inches). Once the owner has placed it on the floor, it will start moving on its own while cleaning the floor from dirt. The electric cleaner will also be programmed to turn around if it hits an obstacle.

The Slime family of creatures from the Dragon Quest series, which were designed by the late Akira Toriyama, have served as inspirations for more eccentric merchandise in Japan. Earlier in Spring 2024, Taito revealed holder items modeled after the Healslime. The Square Enix subsidiary has since released the Healslime headphone stand in April 2024 and the cloth hanger in May 2024. Square Enix has also released more merchandise featuring the Slime in Japan, which range from gummi candies to apparel for babies and children.

The Dragon Quest Liquid Metal Slime electric cleaner will be available as crane game prizes in arcade centers across Japan from July 27, 2024.
