The Dragon Ball Super manga has been on an indefinite hiatus since the release of chapter 103 on March 20, 2024. At the time of its announcement, the manga’s break was said to be unrelated to original Dragon Ball creator Akira Toriyama’s passing on March 1, 2024.

Artist Toyotaro has been in charge of drawing the art for the Dragon Ball Super manga, while original series creator Akira Toriyama was behind the writing for the series from it’s inception in June 2015 until his death.

While Dragon Ball Super won’t be returning to the March 2025 issue of the V-Jump magazine, Atlus announced that the popular RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio will be adapted into a manga series, and its first chapter is expected to appear on that very issue of the monthly manga magazine.

The Dragon Ball Super manga hiatus has reportedly been extended and will continue indefinitely. Viz Media handles the English release of the manga. The Dragon Ball Super anime is available to stream on Crunchyroll.
