Z Assist Select

Tomoko Hiroki: “While keeping what’s good as is; we will be adding new features and adjustments to give everyone a fresh new take.

One example is the ‘Z Assist Select.’ Once this system is implemented, users will be able to select a character’s Assist Attack. Each character has three different Assist Attacks and users will be able to choose from the three from the Character Sect screen.

With this, you will be able to develop new ways to connect combos and build strategies, giving users a broader way to enjoy fights.”

Next, here’s a bit on new features and adjustments coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ:

New Features & Adjustments

Tomoko Hiroki: “The ‘Z Assist Select’ is one example. We wanted to avoid a situation where users had to choose specific characters just for their Z Assist, or just for their character size, and allow users to express and show more of their individuality with the characters they choose, and the way they fight.”

We’re also planning to make adjustments that provide one-sided games caused by specific powerful attacks and combinations as well as adjustments that give users a chance to turn the tables, even if they only have one character left.

We will be implementing a specific feature for this so we hope players will give it a try, and let us know their thoughts.”

Bandai Namco made the announcement at the World Tour Finals today. Furthermore, Day 2 will have info on the next DLC character Ultra Instinct Goku and more. Check out more on that in our previous report.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is currently available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game’s addition to EVO 2020 lineup of nine main games was recently announced.
