A new Dragalia Lost Raid event has been announced, and Doomsday Getaway has some serious Danganronpa 2: Goodbye, Despair vibes. Prince Euden and his friends are on a tropical island. A monochromatic maniac shows up to introduce them to a new game. Oh, yes, and it all involves them murdering each other, with the teaser revealing the first victim. It all kicks off on July 28, 2020.

Here’s the teaser trailer for Doomsday Getaway. The new song for the event, Shiki Aoki’s “Stealth Dance,” plays throughout. Also, we find out one major character is no longer among us (in the event) within the first 12 seconds or so.

The video also announces the new foe and some new units people will be able to collect. It seems a tapir named Carmen is in charge of the game. (This character is black and white with red eyes. Sounds familiar, right?) The new units people will be able to collect will be Summer Amane, Summer Mikoto, Summer Norwin, Summer Patia, and Summer Sinoa. A new dragon is teased in the banner on the official site, and her hair has something of a Junko Enoshima look to it.

Dragalia Lost is available for Android and Apple iOS devices. The Dragalia Lost Raid event with shades of Danganronpa 2 to it will begin on July 28, 2020. Back in May 2020, Granblue Fantasy and Rage of Bahamut characters appeared in the game.
